AndroSparkX
Privacy Policy for AndroSparkX
Effective Date: October 20, 2026
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
Welcome to AndroSparkX (“we”, “our”, “us”, or “the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding how your data is handled.
AndroSparkX is a full-featured Android Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that enables developers to create, import, restore, edit, and build Android Studio-compatible projects directly on Android devices. It provides support for Java (including Java 8), Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, XML layout editing, AIDL, native C/C++ tools, custom Gradle-style builds (Groovy DSL and Kotlin DSL .kts), dependency resolution, R8/ProGuard obfuscation, APK/AAB compilation, signing key generation, and live Logcat debugging.
By downloading, installing, or using AndroSparkX, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect and Process
AndroSparkX is built with a privacy-first approach. We do not operate remote servers to store, view, or upload your source code or project files.
A. User Content and Project Data (Stored Locally)
Source Code & Projects: All project files, source code (Java, Kotlin, XML, AIDL, C/C++), build scripts (build.gradle, build.gradle.kts), assets, compiled classes, generated APK/AAB outputs, keystores, and signing keys that you create, import, or generate are stored exclusively on your device.
Storage Location: All app-related operations and file creations take place strictly inside a dedicated isolated directory on your device named .AndroSparkX.
No Cloud Backup or Code Telemetry: We do not collect, read, transmit, or upload your project source code, keystores, or private files to any external server.
B. Automatically Collected Technical Data
To ensure build system stability and provide smooth background execution, the App locally processes:
Device Specifications: Memory (RAM) availability, internal storage capacity, Android OS version, and CPU architecture (to determine toolchain and build compatibility).
Local Build Logs & Diagnostics: Error logs, compilation diagnostics, and Logcat traces generated during build processes. These logs remain strictly on your device for debugging purposes.
C. Advertising and Third-Party Identifiers
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements which fund ongoing development and improvements. Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain data, including:
IP address and general location data.
Unique device identifiers (such as Advertising ID / AAID).
App performance, interaction data, and ad viewability statistics.
2. Permissions Required and How They Are Used
To function as a complete IDE and compilation toolchain, AndroSparkX requests specific device permissions. You have complete control over whether to grant these permissions in your device settings.
Storage Access / File Management:
Why it is needed: Required to create project directories, save source code, download external Gradle dependencies and SDK tools, generate keystores, and output compiled .apk or .aab files inside the .AndroSparkX folder.
Scope: The App limits its file management strictly to its dedicated .AndroSparkX workspace folder. It does not access, read, or modify your personal photos, documents, or unrelated files.
Internet Access:
Why it is needed: Required to download remote libraries, plugins, dependencies (e.g., Maven/Google repositories), and SDK components necessary for building projects, as well as loading Google AdMob advertisements.
Notification Permission:
Why it is needed: Building and compiling code are resource-intensive tasks that run in the background. This permission allows AndroSparkX to display active build status, compilation progress, and completion notifications.
Ad-related Permissions:
Why it is needed: Used by the Google AdMob SDK to serve ads and prevent ad fraud.
3. How We Use Information
We process the limited data accessible to the App strictly for the following functional purposes:
To compile, build, debug, and package Android applications locally on your mobile device.
To download user-requested project dependencies, Gradle plugins, and build toolchains.
To display background build execution status via foreground system notifications.
To display advertisements through Google AdMob to support continuous app updates.
To enable code editor features like auto-completion, syntax highlighting, undo/redo, and error inspection.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or lease your personal information or source code to third parties.
Google AdMob
The App integrates Google AdMob SDK. AdMob’s collection and use of data are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review their policies:
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
5. Data Security and User Responsibility for Backups
Local Storage Security: All sensitive assets, including generated keystores and source code, remain stored within your local device storage inside .AndroSparkX.
User Responsibility for Project Backups: Because AndroSparkX does not host cloud servers or remote backups of your code, you are solely responsible for maintaining external backups of your source code and project files.
Risk Acknowledgment: Project files may become corrupted due to unexpected device shut-offs, low memory crashes, hardware failures, or storage corruption. We strongly recommend using external version control or regularly backing up your source code.
6. Safety Warning, Device Requirements & Disclaimer
Age Requirement & Intended Audience
AndroSparkX is intended strictly for users aged 18 years and older who possess basic or advanced technical knowledge of Android software development, programming languages (Java, Kotlin, XML), build systems, and device file management. It is not designed or intended for children or non-technical users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
Minimum System Requirements
RAM: Minimum 4 GB RAM (Higher recommended for complex Kotlin/Compose projects).
Storage: Minimum 64 GB internal storage with sufficient free space for downloaded SDK components and build caches.
Limitation of Liability / Disclaimer
Compiling Android applications is a high-memory, CPU-intensive process. On low-end, unsupported, or low-memory devices, complex builds may cause temporary system slowness, app crashes, or device overheating/instability.
Under no circumstances shall the developer of AndroSparkX or its affiliates be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, project corruption, device instability, or hardware failure resulting from the use or inability to use this App. You use AndroSparkX entirely at your own risk.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Project Data: All project files, caches, and build outputs are retained on your device indefinitely until you manually delete them inside the IDE or delete the .AndroSparkX directory.
App Uninstallation: Uninstalling AndroSparkX or clearing its application data via Android System Settings will erase local app configurations. Please back up your .AndroSparkX workspace folder before uninstalling the app.
Advertising Identifiers: Ad-related data retention is managed directly by Google AdMob according to their retention policies. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app enhancements, technical changes, or legal requirements. Any updates will be published on this page or within the App. Your continued use of AndroSparkX after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
